We are not dismantlers, but from time to
time may have panels sold as used, and
showing some signs of use.
This will mean panels previously fitted on
a car, they obviously will have little chips
and/or scratches, this is quite normal
and will be seen on your own car.
If these marks cannot be seen except on
close inspection, we will describe them
as good condition or as "capable of
making a good repair",
such marks will not spoil anything.
Some such panels we have had repaired
by a specialist and the marks/damage
will have completely gone. In such case
we have had to pay a very high fee for
the restoration, and its past history is now
irrelevant, the panel is NEW again,
and certainly not grounds for trying to
beat down the price! These colours are
now extremely rare to find, we have made
trips up to 700 miles, nearly to Berlin!
Now, classic car parts prices apply!
"repairing to a budget" is not an option.
